Guomen Times: Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone officially closes and operates

Recently, the first airport type comprehensive bonded zone in Sichuan, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, was officially closed and put into operation. On the same day, under the supervision of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport Customs, a container truck loaded with Airbus A321 aircraft engines entered the comprehensive bonded zone through a checkpoint, marking the official landing of the first business in Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone.  

This engine was transported from Hong Kong to Chengdu. From the actual customs clearance experience, the entire process was intelligently verified, automatically compared and released, and the process was efficient and smooth. According to our calculations, relying on the policy advantages of the comprehensive bonded zone and the convenient conditions of the integrated zone and port, our comprehensive operating costs were reduced by about 20%. It is reported that Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone is the sixth comprehensive bonded zone in Sichuan Province, adjacent to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, with a planned area of 1.08 square kilometers. After the closure operation, it can achieve integrated supervision with the airport port and "one-stop" customs clearance. It will focus on aviation equipment, pharmaceutical cold chain, aviation maintenance, cross-border e-commerce and other air suitable fields, expand value-added services such as bonded maintenance, bonded processing, bonded research and development, and financing leasing, and promote deep integration of "processing and manufacturing+international trade" and "service trade+bonded".  

Chengdu Shuangliu Airport Customs actively expands new scenarios for maintenance and protection, implementing a "7 × 24 hour" customs clearance system. Precise instruments and composite materials required for maintenance can be quickly transported from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone to the apron, achieving "ready to use" upon arrival. At the same time, the customs innovation explores the "integration of district and port" model, relying on the logistics advantages of air ports, effectively improving logistics efficiency, and driving down the cost of enterprise cargo distribution.  

According to statistics, in 2025, the total import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones in Sichuan Province will be 582.41 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%.
