AEO, also known as "Certified Operator", is the highest level of corporate credit globally and is hailed as the "golden signboard" and "green passport" of foreign trade enterprises. In recent years, Jining Customs under Qingdao Customs has vigorously promoted AEO cultivation and certification, empowering high-quality development of foreign trade with credit.
According to statistics from Jining Customs, by 2025, the import and export scale of 32 AEO enterprises in Jining City will reach 19.7 billion yuan, accounting for 15.4% of the city's total foreign trade value and becoming an important force driving foreign trade growth.
Holding the AEO "Green Passport", the benefits of customs policies enable foreign trade enterprises to clear customs smoothly. In the domestic customs clearance process, AEO enterprises can enjoy a much lower average inspection rate for import and export goods compared to conventional management enterprises, priority in handling customs clearance procedures, exemption from guarantees, reduction in inspection and verification frequency, establishment of dedicated customs coordinators, and other conveniences, greatly reducing customs clearance time and lowering clearance costs. In the international customs clearance process, relying on the AEO international mutual recognition system, enterprise goods can enjoy equal customs clearance convenience in mutually recognized countries (regions), achieving "one-time certification, global benefits", effectively improving the efficiency of international circulation of goods, enhancing the bargaining power and competitive advantage of enterprises in the international market.
In addition, AEO enterprises can also enjoy joint incentive policies from multiple departments such as customs, taxation, and finance, and receive more support in export tax rebates, financing loans, and other areas, achieving the goal of "keeping promises in one place and benefiting everywhere".
