Zhongwei Customs successfully handled the supervision of abnormal leakage of transit goods at Yingshuiqiao Marshalling Station

On February 25th, Zhongwei Customs successfully handled the supervision of abnormal leakage of transit goods at Yingshuiqiao marshalling yard. During the Spring Festival, a batch of transit goods from Japan to Uzbekistan were found to be leaking while passing through the Zhongwei Yingshuiqiao marshalling yard, and were decommissioned by the railway company for inspection by the cargo owner enterprise. After receiving the consultation, Zhongwei Customs immediately contacted relevant enterprises to understand the situation, informed them of the requirements for the supervision of transit goods and the handling of abnormal cargo damage caused by railway transportation, and reminded them to contact the customs at the place of entry in a timely manner to handle relevant procedures. At the same time, actively contact Yingshuiqiao Railway Freight Station to remind them to pay attention to the container and do a good job in related safety production.
On the afternoon of February 25th, upon receiving a notification from the customs at the place of entry to assist in supervision, Zhongwei Customs immediately dispatched personnel to the railway freight station to carry out supervision work, strictly verifying the box number and commercial seal number, and opening the boxes to inspect the cargo pallets one by one. Finally, it was found that small unit packaging had leaked due to compression deformation at the bottom layer of the cargo pallet at the end of the container. After the enterprise completes the organization and passes the transportation safety inspection of the railway department, customs seals will be imposed in accordance with the law. At present, the relevant regulatory situation has been reported to the customs at the place of entry, and the goods will be shipped normally after completing the procedures.
Based on the fact that there are many transit trains at the Zhongwei Yingshuiqiao Railway Marshalling Station, the next step for Zhongwei Customs is to further strengthen the training of front-line customs officers in port supervision related business skills, comprehensively enhance emergency response capabilities and comprehensive business level.
