Lushan edible mushrooms have been sold to 18 countries and regions
On February 26th, in the production workshop of Henan Gilmu Food Co., Ltd. in Lushan County, Henan Province, workers were packing edible mushroom products in an orderly manner. After being supervised by Pingdingshan Customs under Zhengzhou Customs, these products will soon be exported to the Netherlands. Edible mushrooms extracted from shiitake mushrooms are popular among domestic consumers, but how to expand overseas markets has become a challenge, "said Lu Jixue, the person in charge of Henan Jiermu Food Co., Ltd. in Lushan County.
In order to solve the current situation of difficulties for enterprises in Lushan County to expand overseas markets, the General Administration of Customs' Assistance Working Group stationed in Lushan County has closely cooperated with Pingdingshan Customs to launch a new three-dimensional service model of "enterprises raising demands, strong tracking by the stationed working group, and full service by the stationed customs". Wang Xiaobo, the head of the Inspection Department of Pingdingshan Customs, said, "In response to the export difficulties faced by enterprises, the customs has sorted out and collected relevant laws and standards of major trading countries to guide enterprises in standardizing planting standards
Pingdingshan Customs has also set up a "green channel" for rural revitalization, providing convenient measures such as telephone appointment inspection and priority testing for fresh produce, achieving zero delay in commodity production, inspection and export.
With the guidance and assistance of customs, our company has exported more than 7 million yuan worth of edible mushroom products since the beginning of this year, covering 18 countries and regions. We hope that more and more countries can see our edible mushrooms on their dining tables, "said Lu Jixue.
In recent years, the "local specialties" of Lushan, represented by edible mushrooms such as shiitake mushrooms and black fungus, are accelerating their global presence. According to statistics, in 2025, Lushan County exported a total of 115 million yuan worth of agricultural and food products, a year-on-year increase of 51.5%. Next, Pingdingshan Customs will continue to optimize its service measures to help Lushan's "local specialties" expand their overseas market territory. (Zheng Guanxuan, Luo Jingya/Wen)
