Suqian's characteristic noodle products' fresh 'reach overseas
On March 9th, on the production line of Shoutao (Jiangsu) Food Co., Ltd., wet noodles were produced one after another through processes such as kneading, rolling, curing, and packaging. They were then quickly released through the "green channel" established by Suqian Customs under Nanjing Customs and immediately loaded onto trucks for shipment to the Netherlands.
Wet flour belongs to non instant flour products, which eliminates dehydration and drying processes compared to dry flour. Therefore, wet noodles have a short shelf life and high storage and transportation requirements. In addition, different countries have different requirements for microorganisms, food additives, labeling, etc., which makes many noodle product companies hesitant to export wet noodles.
Our first encounter with export business, from filing to customs clearance, was a completely unfamiliar process, and we were really unsure. "Cao Xuehong, the foreign trade manager of Shoutao (Jiangsu) Food Co., Ltd., recalled the situation when we first expanded into the Dutch market." Fortunately, the customs staff took the initiative to come to our door and guide us in handling the qualification filing, allowing us to obtain the 'pass' for exporting food without leaving our homes
Suqian Customs focuses on quality control of noodle products, guiding enterprises to sort out evaluation standards for qualified suppliers, improving the system of purchasing acceptance and traceability records for core raw materials, consolidating the quality foundation of noodle products from the source, establishing a dynamic food policy push mechanism, collecting real-time changes in foreign food supervision policies, risk warning information, etc., helping enterprises optimize production processes, improve the self inspection system for finished products, and tailor cold chain storage and transportation plans. At the same time, optimize the customs clearance process, open a "green channel", and achieve "immediate reporting, inspection, and rapid certificate issuance".
According to statistics, from January to February 2026, the export value of flour products in Suqian area was 810000 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6%.
