By 2025, Fujian will become the top exporter of aquatic products in China

Standing by the sea and thriving towards the sea, relying on the unique endowment of marine resources and the increasingly perfect advantages of industrial clusters, the aquaculture industry in Fujian Province inherits the Fujian business gene of "fighting the wind and waves, daring to fight and win", and breaks through the waves in the global market. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, by 2025, Fujian Province's aquatic product exports will reach 43.81 billion yuan, exported to 182 countries and regions around the world, and have remained the top exporter of aquatic products in China for 13 consecutive years. With its strong core capabilities, it has written an impressive answer to the "Fujian goods going global".

On the basis of consolidating traditional markets such as Europe, America, Japan, and South Korea, Fujian's aquaculture industry is forward-looking and exploring new growth poles, setting off a "blue whirlwind" in emerging markets such as Africa and Latin America. In 2025, Fujian Province's exports of aquatic products to Africa reached 5.67 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.6%. Among them, exports to Cameroon, Togo, and Guinea achieved explosive growth of 2.7 times, 2 times, and 1.9 times respectively, with emerging markets becoming a strong engine driving exports. Under the multiple driving forces of market demand, policy dividends, and technological innovation empowerment, the export vitality of Fujian's aquatic products continues to burst. The export value of advantageous products such as frozen carp, frozen bigeye tuna, and frozen catfish has increased by 3.7 times, 1.7 times, and 1.5 times respectively year-on-year, and the matrix of high value-added products has accelerated its formation.

Our company is deeply engaged in the field of aquatic food processing, extending from traditional frozen aquatic products to high value-added products such as canned fish and pre packaged vegetables, accurately meeting the global market's demand for convenient and healthy food consumption, and continuously expanding our overseas market territory. Xu Xihe, Chairman of Fujian Mingxing Food Freezing Co., Ltd., happily stated that by 2025, the total export value of our company's aquatic products will increase by nearly 40% year-on-year, and our trading partners will cover nearly 60 countries and regions around the world, becoming a vivid epitome of the transformation and upgrading of Fujian's aquatic industry.

In order to help aquatic product enterprises expand their overseas "friend circle", Xiamen Customs adheres to problem oriented and demand-oriented approaches, regularly carries out actions such as "entering thousands of enterprises, solving thousands of problems" and "tax incentives and empowerment", improves the "zero problem" work mechanism, faces the pain points and difficulties of enterprises in order negotiation, market access, logistics clearance and other links, and helps enterprises seize orders, expand markets, and solve problems. In response to the high requirements for freshness preservation and strong customs clearance time of aquatic products, a "green channel" has been established, and a "7 × 24 hour" appointment customs clearance mechanism has been implemented to optimize the inspection process and maximize the protection of aquatic products for "fresh export".
