Guangzhou Customs seized 19903.82 grams of ketamine!

Recently, Guangzhou Customs seized a batch of ketamine with a net weight of 19903.82 grams at the airport port. At present, the case has been transferred to the anti smuggling department for handling.

Customs officers at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Customs, discovered abnormal machine inspection images while supervising a transit package declared as "suspension control arm". Customs officers immediately intercepted and further inspected the package, and found 10 packages of white block crystals packaged in transparent plastic bags, suspected to contain ketamine. After testing by a professional organization, it was determined that the white block shaped crystals mentioned above are the drug ketamine, with a net weight of 19903.82 grams. Ketamine, commonly known as "K-powder", is addictive and can cause brain damage, urinary tract disorders, and respiratory depression when abused.

Smuggling, trafficking, transporting, and manufacturing drugs, regardless of the quantity, should be held criminally responsible and punished.
