Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs seized 13248 smuggled old electronic products

Gongbei Customs announced that its Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs recently seized 13248 old electronic products in the inbound bus passage.
At around 8 o'clock on the same day, customs officers discovered abnormal machine inspection images of a Guangdong Hong Kong license plate passenger car while monitoring the entry passenger car passage at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. After further inspection, the customs officer found several pre packaged old electronic products, including old solid-state drives and old mobile phones, totaling 7666 pieces, in multiple locations such as the spare tire compartment at the rear of the car and the rear seat space.
At almost the same time, customs officers detected another suspicious bus with Guangdong Hong Kong license plates in the channel and carried out simultaneous interception and inspection. After a thorough inspection, the customs officers seized a batch of 5582 old electronic products placed in the same location inside the vehicle using similar techniques. Recently, after appraisal by professional institutions, the above-mentioned old electronic products still have practical value. In addition, the two drivers involved in the case claimed to be companions, both earning "labor fees" by helping people transport goods.
