Recently, at the planting base of Linyi Heshengyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Linyi Customs officers under Qingdao Customs conducted on-site inspections on 1980 fresh cut flowers of exported butterfly orchids. After passing the inspection, this batch of butterfly orchids was immediately sent to Dubai by air freight. This is the first time Linyi fresh cut flowers have been exported to the Dubai market.
The quarantine standards for imported fresh cut flowers have always been strict. To ensure the smooth export of fresh cut flowers, Linyi Customs has contacted flower planting enterprises in advance, focused on source control, strengthened daily supervision of registered cut flower planting bases and processing plants, and helped enterprises build a full process quality and safety defense line.
Customs experts will promptly convey the latest inspection and quarantine policies from abroad to us, helping us adjust our production and export plans in a timely manner according to the requirements of different countries and regions. This gives us the confidence to continuously explore new markets, "said Pan Kaiwen, the person in charge of Linyi Heshengyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. The company's next plan is to continue to explore the Southeast Asian market.
Fresh cut flowers have a short shelf life and are difficult to preserve. They require refrigerated transportation throughout the entire process, and the time requirements for each export link are also very high.
To improve customs clearance efficiency, ensure less logistics damage and longer viewing period for fresh cut flowers, Linyi Customs has tailored a full chain customs clearance service guarantee plan, creating a "fast lane" for exporting fresh cut flowers on the basis of strict quality control.
We rely on the 'green channel' for local inspection of fresh and perishable agricultural products for export, combined with convenient measures such as' appointment inspection 'and' cloud issuance of certificates', to conduct inspections at any time and release them immediately, truly achieving 'zero waiting' for fresh cut flower exports, "said Yao Zhiyuan, head of the Inspection and Quarantine Department of Linyi Customs.
According to statistics, in 2025, Linyi Customs will supervise the export of fresh cut flowers such as Phalaenopsis and Ganye Chrysanthemum, with a total value of 6.22 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 147%. (Wang Jianmin/article)
