On January 15th, the Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Sun Meijun, met with the Canadian Minister of Agriculture and Agrifood, McDonald, and his delegation at the office. Both sides exchanged views on implementing the strategic consensus between the leaders of China and Canada, deepening cooperation in customs inspection and quarantine, promoting safe and convenient trade of agricultural and food products between the two countries, and conducting online verification of electronic certificates.
