Yantai launches its first transit freight train to Central Asia

On April 15, the first "Incheon Yantai Khorgos Central Asia" sea rail intermodal train started from the Yantai Port Railway Dedicated Line with a whistle, marking the official opening of the first transit cargo Central Asia train in Yantai.

On April 14, these containers were loaded on the Sino Korean ferry "New Xiangxueland" at Incheon Port, South Korea. After a 14 hour sea voyage to Yantai Port, they were immediately transferred to railway transportation. They will go directly to Khorgos Port and then leave the country. Finally, they will arrive in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. The whole journey of cross-border transportation is about one week.
