Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge customs seized 180000 cigarettes for export

Recently, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs under the jurisdiction of Gongbei Customs seized 180000 cigarettes hidden in a batch of exported goods.

On March 4th, at the exit cargo inspection site of the Zhuhai Highway Port on the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, customs officers conducted a machine inspection on an export transit truck and found that the machine inspection image of the cargo inside the truck was abnormal. After further inspection, the customs officers found 900 "BOHEM" brand cigarettes wrapped in snake skin bags and hidden in cardboard boxes inside the car, totaling 180000 cigarettes.

Customs reminder: According to the Tobacco Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China, the export of cigarettes requires approval from the tobacco monopoly administrative department of the State Council and obtaining a tobacco monopoly license.
