On March 25th, according to statistics from Ningbo Airport Customs, the import and export cargo volume at Ningbo Airport Port reached 9749.9 tons in the first two months, a year-on-year increase of 72.5%. The total import and export value reached 4.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 208.6%.
The import and export of Ningbo Airport Port are heading towards each other in both directions, and the level of openness and customs clearance efficiency have risen synchronously, showing a good trend of 'good start', "said the relevant person in charge of Ningbo Customs.
In terms of exports, in the first two months, the export value of Ningbo Airport Port was 3.86 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 257.7%. Among them, mechanical and electrical products carried the "main beam", with an export value of 3.29 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 472.5%, accounting for 85.2% of the total export value of the airport and driving the overall growth of airport exports by 251.6 percentage points.
Taijing (Ningbo) Electronics Co., Ltd. achieved a turnover of 150 million yuan in the first two months of this year. In terms of imports, in the first two months, the value of imported goods at Ningbo Airport Port was 1.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 109.3%, showing a pattern of dual prosperity of industrial materials and livelihood materials. The import value of agricultural products represented by fresh products such as crayfish, green crabs, and eels reached 210 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 337.7%, with lobster imports surging 15.7 times.
From the perspective of trading partners, Hong Kong, China is the largest trading partner of Ningbo Airport. In the first two months, it achieved imports and exports of 2.72 billion yuan to Hong Kong, a year-on-year increase of 598.3%, accounting for 54.6%.
The growth of data is also due to the continuous densification of the international airline network. At present, Ningbo Airport has 9 inbound and outbound routes, distributed in Li è ge, Belgium, New York, USA, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, China and other places, and has initially built an international cargo route network spanning the three major economic zones of Europe, America and Asia.
At the same time, Ningbo Airport has established logistics connections with multiple domestic airports through the "air to air transfer" and "air to land intermodal transportation" models. Goods from surrounding cities can be imported and exported through Ningbo Port through customs clearance, continuously improving the multimodal logistics system for the transportation of general cargo, cross-border e-commerce goods, and postal parcels.
Recently, a batch of Quzhou goods called cigarette packaging paper have been loaded into the warehouse at Ningbo Airport International Cargo Station and will be transferred to Urumqi through "air to air transfer" before being exported to Armenia.
Compared to transporting goods by road to Xinjiang ports for export, transferring from Ningbo to other ports can save at least 3 days of transportation time and reduce the overall cost of orders by 15%, "said Lu Jianjiang, the person in charge of Ningbo Yuanzhan Customs Declaration Agency Co., Ltd.
Data shows that in the first two months of this year, Ningbo Airport Customs supervised a total of 1136.4 tons of imported and exported general cargo, a year-on-year increase of 170.9%, of which 277.5 tons were supervised for export transfer, a year-on-year increase of 369.6%.
