Online retail improves quality and unleashes domestic demand potential. Deeply implementing the Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Developing Digital Consumption and Co creating a Better Life in the Digital Age, digital consumption and online services have become the driving force for growth. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, online retail sales in China increased by 9.1% from January to November. The key monitoring platform of the Ministry of Commerce saw an 8.2% increase in digital products, with smart wearables and smart robots growing by 22.1% and 19.4% respectively, and online service consumption growing by 21.7%. Online retail has driven rapid growth in the volume of express delivery services. According to data from the State Post Bureau, as of November 30th, the volume of express delivery services in China has exceeded 180 billion, setting a new historical high.
E-commerce platforms help transform and enhance innovation drive. Industrial e-commerce benefits nearly 450 enterprises, promoting the acceleration of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in agriculture and industry. From January to November, business big data monitored a 9.8% increase in rural net zero value, with key monitoring of textile and pharmaceutical transaction volume on industrial e-commerce platforms increasing by 6.6% and 3.5% respectively. The main position of platform innovation continues to strengthen, with an average R&D intensity of 8.3% for major e-commerce platforms in the first three quarters, ranking among the top in the world in areas such as AI cloud, self-developed cultural videos, and cultural image models. According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to October, China's cloud computing and big data services achieved a 13.4% increase in revenue, while e-commerce platform technology service revenue increased by 12.1%.
Silk Road e-commerce promotes cooperation, deepens mutual benefit and win-win results. Holding the national "Silk Road Cloud Products" e-commerce month event, creating popular products such as Australian steak, Uzbekistan biscuits, and Indonesian bird's nest, with sales growth exceeding 10 times, driving a 5.6% increase in retail sales of imported goods on key monitoring platforms from January to November, and amplifying the channel effect of e-commerce connecting domestic and international consumer markets. Capacity building innovation empowers partner countries, with continuous overseas training sessions of the Cloud Lecture Hall held in Thailand and Laos. More than 150 representatives from the government, industry, and small and medium-sized enterprises participated, helping to achieve new results in the construction of a community with a shared future in the surrounding areas.
