On the occasion of International Customs Day, Huangdao Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, invited more than 20 business leaders and representatives of foreign trade enterprises in the Qingdao area of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone to visit the China Customs Intellectual Property Protection Exhibition Center (Qingdao) and get up close to learn about customs protection work for intellectual property.

The event "How to efficiently protect rights when enterprises encounter infringement when going abroad?" kicked off with the question of facing the needs of enterprises. Customs officers transformed into "escorts to the sea" by distributing the "Intellectual Property Customs Protection Manual", displaying infringing goods, interactive Q&A, and combining real cases of infringement discovered in recent years, detailed the process of intellectual property filing, identification techniques for infringing goods, and customs enforcement procedures. They answered hot issues such as "infringement liability division" and "evidence collection and rights protection" one by one, deepening the recognition of enterprise representatives for intellectual property customs protection work.

I didn't expect that online customs filing would be so convenient and free, allowing our company to expand into overseas markets and avoid many detours, "said Gao Jun, the customs officer in charge of Qingdao Kaiboko Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

On site, a practical section of the intellectual property customs filing system was also set up, inviting enterprise representatives to personally experience and provide real-time guidance, truly enabling enterprises to understand, learn, and use the "policy knowledge" protected by customs into their "toolbox for going abroad".
